Dungeon and rewards
Deus Research Base is a Transcendence dungeon. It drops the Bell, Compass, and Grail Arcana. Difficulty rises by stage, adding negative effects. This guide covers stage 4; lower stages use the same mechanics with weaker effects.

Route and points
The dungeon is large and non-linear, so split up. Four players kill monsters and mini-bosses while a fifth runs the route from the start and activates teleporters. This lets the group move between bosses instantly. The final boss unlocks when you have enough points: regular monsters give 1–2, mini-bosses 45.
Boss 1: Gelcos
Go up the stairs on the left to reach the first boss.

- Dash at the farthest playerThroughout the fight, Gelcos marks whoever is farthest away and dashes at them, knocking them down.
- Line and puddleHe turns and fires a line at the marked player, leaving a long-lasting lightning puddle. The marked player kites him to the edge and aims the line at the wall.
- JumpThe dash and line repeat twice, then Gelcos jumps at the marked player with an area hit.
- WhipHe pulls the group in and attacks in front with a whip combo. Stay behind him. Below 50%, the pull becomes an area attack; its final hit pulls and stuns. Run out, block, or heal through it.
- Center below 50%He jumps to the center, knocks players down, then uses an area hit, a ring, and star-shaped lines. Below 25%, old lightning puddles stretch into lines.
Boss 2: Nazmun
Teleport to the cable car, follow the path past the chain totems, and glide to the arena.

- Laser pillarsNazmun places laser pillars throughout the fight. They usually gather in the arena center. The tank should keep him near the edge so the pillars do not interfere.
- Do not go past the rampIf the boss is taken beyond the ramp, he resets and restores his health.
- MinesMines remain on the floor for a few seconds and deal damage and stun.
- Ring bombBelow 75%, a ring bomb targets the tank. Anyone in the white zone when it explodes takes damage. Below 35%, there are two marks.
- Beam and circlesThe beam targets the tank with one, then two, then three fast lines; it can be blocked. He also lunges at the tank with an area hit and places four small circles on each player.
Final boss: Atiel
If you need more points, kill the remaining monsters on the platform to the west. Then teleport to the last cable car and descend to the arena.

- Shrinking arenaAt 75% and 35%, Atiel jumps to the center, slowly pushes everyone toward the edge, and fires stunning projectiles that can be blocked. After five seconds, the outer ring collapses. Do not get pushed off.
- Morphic WorldAt 25%, the whole arena collapses in 10 seconds. Four red cones rotate counterclockwise in a cross and knock players back hard.
- What to doStand close to the boss before the phase and follow the cones' rotation. The stagger bar is longer in this phase. Break it to interrupt the cast; save your stagger stigma for this.

- Chains with the tankAtiel pulls everyone in and chains them to the tank, draining health. Run away from one another until the chains break.
- Shared hitA random player is marked for a shared hit; at least three players must join. Atiel jumps to the mark. If needed, move with him to close the distance.
- Chains to the bossBelow 50%, Atiel sometimes chains everyone to himself. The chain turns red if you are too far away; move closer.
- Other attacksSidestep or perfectly dodge the tank grab. Two consecutive hits target the two farthest players. A fan aimed at the tank knocks players back slightly. Below 75%, drones fly along the same path and knock players back.
