1. What this document is

It describes what data appears when you use the site, why it is needed and what happens to it. By using the site you agree to this.

2. There is no registration

The site does not ask for an account, a name, a phone number, an address, identity documents or payment details. There are no user accounts, so there are no profiles to store.

3. What you send yourself

  1. Comments. The signature you typed, the text and the time are stored. You do not have to use your real name. Your IP address is not stored — it is only held in memory to limit how often messages can be posted.
  2. Messages through the contact form. The name, the contact you chose to leave and the text are stored. They are used only to reply and are not passed to anyone else.

Do not send passwords, card details or other sensitive information through the site: the form is not meant for it.

4. What is collected automatically

  1. Browser settings. The chosen theme, list mode, saved calculator builds and map marks are kept in your browser (localStorage) and never leave it.
  2. Visit statistics. Yandex Metrica is used: anonymised information about the pages visited, the referring source, the device and the browser. No personal data is collected through it. You can switch it off by blocking cookies in your browser or turning on "Do Not Track".
  3. Server logs. The web server records requests; the records are used to fend off attacks and diagnose failures and are kept for a limited time.

5. Sharing with others

Data is not sold and not passed to third parties, except where the law directly requires it. The exceptions are the Yandex Metrica statistics service, which operates under its own rules, and any external sites you open through links.

6. Children

The site is not intended to collect data from people under 14.

7. Deleting your data

You can ask for your comment or message to be deleted — write through thecontacts page and say which message you mean. Browser settings are removed by clearing the site data in your browser.

8. Changes

This policy may change as the site develops. The current revision is always on this page.
