Dungeon and rewards
Krao Cave is the first expedition where the final boss has real mechanics. It has three bosses: Enhanced Harcon, Neglected Gadioton, and Ultimate Berk. This is also the first time you meet the stagger bar, a mechanic used in most later dungeons.

Route to the first boss
After entering, follow the right wall and avoid the red mines on the ground. This is the quickest, safest way to Harcon's arena.
Boss 1: Enhanced Harcon

- First set of linesAt 75% and 35%, Harcon jumps to the center. The first set leaves a safe hexagon around him; stand close to the boss.
- Second setThe next lines pass through the boss. Move between them.
- Beam and puddlesThe beam leaves a damaging strip. Small circles on the tank leave puddles. After 50%, puddles appear across the arena; keep out of them.
Boss 2: Neglected Gadioton
Leave Harcon's room to the right and go straight; do not take the passage on the right. Avoid the red orbs on the way, or they will chase you to the arena.

- Like the first bossPuddles and a beam that leaves a strip work the same way, but puddles spread around the room and Gadioton often teleports before the beam.
- Projectile on the tankA slow projectile is followed by an attack around the boss. The tank should move away or block.
- Pull at 35%Gadioton jumps to the center, pulls the group in, then attacks around himself. Damage is moderate, but puddles can finish you off. Dash or dodge outward.
Final boss: Ultimate Berk
Go back from Gadioton, down the stairs, then left along the corridor. In the large hall, defeat the guard, activate the last teleporter, and ride the wind up to Berk's arena.

- Wave of FuryAt 75% and 35%, Berk moves to the center, attacks around himself, then casts “Wave of Fury,” a lethal hit across the arena.
- PillarsThree stone pillars appear in a triangle. Stand behind one, with the boss on the other side.
- Hard modeFour pillars appear, but three are false and crumble before the hit. The real one glows; false pillars have cracks and no glow.
- After the waveBerk jumps at the tank with a large area attack. Do not stand near the tank.

- Extinction for EternityAt 50%, the stagger bar appears and Berk casts “Extinction for Eternity” for nine seconds. If you fail to break the bar, the whole party dies.
- Stagger stigmaIf the group lacks stagger, save the stigma in the upper-left slot of the stigma window. It removes about a quarter of the bar. Use it here.
- Front comboLine in front → hit on the right → hit in front. Only a narrow strip behind Berk is safe. Get behind him as soon as you see the first line. All three hits can be blocked or perfectly dodged.
- SpinBerk spins and rolls toward the tank, dealing fast damage and applying bleeding nearby. Everyone but the tank moves away; the tank kites or blocks.
- CrossA cross-shaped hit is followed by another in the first hit's safe spots. Move after the second.
- Circles after 50%Stunning circles fall across the arena until the end. They are dangerous during the pillar phase too: a stun can stop you reaching cover.
Before Berk
- Equip a stagger stigma for the 50% phase
- Everyone knows to hide from Wave of Fury; on hard mode, use the glowing pillar
- Non-tanks stay behind Berk
- Move away from the tank during the spin
- Hiding behind a false pillarIt crumbles before the hit on hard mode. Look for the glow.
- Using the stagger stigma before 50%You will not have it for Extinction for Eternity.
- Standing in front of BerkThe line → right → front combo is usually fatal.
- Running through circles to a pillarAfter 50%, circles stun; being stunned during Wave of Fury means death.
Key points
At Harcon, stand in the hexagon, then between the lines. At Gadioton, dash out after the pull. Stay behind Berk; hide behind a pillar at 75% and 35% (the glowing one on hard mode), and have everyone break his stagger bar at 50%. Save the stagger stigma for that phase.
